Rishi is a seasoned lawyer with a diverse background in employment and labour law.  He has particular experience in advising and representing employer clients in the following areas:

• Wrongful Dismissal
• Restrictive covenants
• Preparation and implementation of written contracts of employment
• Construction labour relations
• Collective bargaining
• Union certification applications
• Human rights matters, including the duty to accommodate
• Union grievances
• Unfair Labour Practice applications
• Related employer and sale of business applications under the Labour Relations Act
• Union termination applications
• Litigation before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and grievance arbitrators

Rishi operated his own successful employment and labour law practice in Oakville from 2013 to 2017, and previously practiced employment and labour law with boutique labour and employment law firms.  Rishi regularly speaks at conferences and seminars relating to employment law and human rights matters.  He is the past President of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto.  Rishi is an Oakville resident. When not practising law, Rishi can be found on the baseball diamond coaching his son’s team and training for his next triathlon. His goal remains to break into the top 10 in his advancing age group.
